Wladimir Klitschko says he will not let Tyson Fury’s mind games distract him ahead of their rematch on October 29.

The Ukrainian lost his 11-year unbeaten run when he went down to Fury in Hamburg last year but wasted little time in exercising his right to a rematch in a bid to regain the WBA and WBO heavyweight titles.

However, since conquering the world, his opponent has questioned his own commitment to the sport and failed to show up to Monday’s press conference due to issues with his car.

The challenger is currently 1.91 to win the fight, with the draw 23.00 and Fury is 1.95. Klitschko, who saw his initial shot at revenge postponed due to the champion suffering an ankle injury, claims he has learned a lot from Fury’s theatrical antics in the build-up to their first fight.

Speaking to the press, the heavyweight legend insisted that he would not be put off by any of the Fury camp’s attempts to unsettle him ahead of the fight, which he insists he is going to win.

“It really doesn’t matter. If he didn’t (turn up), so what? I’ve had this in the past with (Alexander) Povetkin when we were supposed to fight and also with (David) Haye.

It’s nothing new,” Klitschko said. “I’m not surprised anymore because in the past there have been so many ridiculous moves from the Fury camp. “It can go in any direction but I’m highly motivated and it didn’t take any air out of me.

I know what kind of people we’re dealing with. There’s nothing that is going to make me less focused or train less. “I know this fight is going to happen and I know I’m going to win.”
