Red Bull star and world champion Sebastian Vettel doesn’t think moving teams will silence his critics.

Vettel has been booed on occasion this season and, despite landing a fourth successive Drivers’ Championship crown in 2013, he still has his critics within Formula 1.

Red Bull clearly have the best car on the grid by some distance but Vettel has been consistently linked with a move to Ferrari at some stage in his career.

The German star, however, has rejected the notion that winning titles with another team would silence his doubters and has indicated he is planning to remain with Red Bull beyond the end of his current deal.

Vettel is under contract until the end of the 2015 campaign, although the team have a further one-year option on his deal, but the 26-year-old seems content to remain with Red Bull for the foreseeable future.

“Even if I go to another team I will still have people who doubt or don’t like who I am and what I do,” he is quoted as saying by the Mirror.

“It doesn’t change much in the end if you switch teams. In the end you have to be happy with yourself.”
