Reim’s captain Yunis Abdelhamid has revealed how they could secure a draw at Parc De Princes, the home ground 9f Ligue 1 Champions Paris Saint-Germain, pointing out that trio Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe don’t defend as much as they attack.

He stated this after helping the side hold the champions to a 1-1 draw.

PGS were on the verge of scoring a win courtesy of a goal from Neymar in the 51st minute, only for Arsenal loanee Folarin Balogun to score the equaliser in the dying moments of the match to snatch a point away from PSG.

Speaking after the match, Abdelhamid took a dig at PSG’s much-hyped attacking trio after the draw as he suggested that while the three players press when they have the momentum, they hardly track back and contribute to the team defending.

Abdelhamid pointed out that it was easy to work the ball out of the defence because the trio hardly defended.

He added that they hoped they would no longer participate in the collective defensive effort once they passed the first line.

According to him, they worked on this and managed to create so many chances.

The reigning champions’ lead has now reduced to three points after failing to win in two consecutive Ligue 1 games.

This is now left for the manager Christophe Galtier to look into when his men next face Montpellier in Ligue 1 on February 1.

Balogun dedicated his goal against PSG to Arsenal legend and France legend Thierry Henry in a related development by imitating his celebration with the corner flag.

The player, via his Twitter page, revealed that he had been in touch with Henry before the match and had been happy to pay tribute to the striker.

“Spoke to Titi before the game! Only right I show my respect,” he tweeted a picture of the two celebrations.
