Brazil international Willian has dismissed rumours of a potential switch to Paris Saint-Germain and the winger says extending his Chelsea contract is his priority.

Willian was linked with a move to the French champions throughout the summer and, despite a deal failing to happen, there are still rumours a January exit could be on the cards.

The 28-year-old, who has been at the English club since 2013, has been a regular fixture in the first team ever since arriving, making 102 Premier League appearances and scoring 13 goals.

He is seen as one of the best players at the Stamford Bridge outfit and manager Antonio Conte certainly believes this, having used him six times in the league this season.

Fans will be hoping they can keep hold of the Brazilian for years to come and recent comments from the player will be music to their ears.

The former Shakhtar star says moving to the Parc des Prince has never been on his mind and he is actually hoping to retire with the Blues.

“For all of these reasons, I intend to see out my contract – and perhaps even extend it if Chelsea offer me the chance,”

Willian told France Football. “It would be a privilege to finish my career at a club as big as Chelsea.”

Willian will be aiming to maintain his impressive early-season form when Chelsea entertain defending champions Leicester City on Saturday.

Chelsea, who are sitting seventh in the table, are the firm 1.60 favourites to clinch all three points, the draw is priced 4.20 whilst the Foxes are the 5.50 outsiders.

Claudio Ranieri’s men have struggled in their title defence to date, having won just two of their seven games, and will be hoping to replicate their Champions League form in the Premier League.
