Having ended his goalscoring drought in the 1-0 win over Cardiff City on Sunday, Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado is keen to find some form in front of goal for the remainder of the campaign.

The former Valencia star produced a fine finish to score the decisive goal against the Bluebirds at White Hart Lane, which keeps Spurs in the hunt for their desired top-four finish in the Premier League this season.

Soldado has been the subject of some criticism of late and admittedly it has taken some time for the Spain international to adapt from La Liga to the English top flight.

But the talented striker took his goal well over the weekend and is now eager to push on and help Spurs achieve their dream of playing Champions League football again next season.

He told the club’s official website: “I’m feeling really, really good and I’m really happy that we got the three points – ecstatic actually.

“It’s a big win. We’ve got a really difficult month coming up so to get the three points and to be in a position to build on that means everything at the moment.”

Next up for Tottenham in the Premier League is a tough test against table-toppers Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Spurs are 5.89 to make it back-to-back wins and secure victory across London at The Bridge, whilst Chelsea are 1.55 to take all three points and continue their push for the English crown.
