The Foxes are currently seven points clear of nearest rivals Tottenham with just three matches left to play in the campaign, and they could secure glory if they defeat Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Claudio Ranieri’s team have never before won the league title and despite their dominant position, PFA Players’ Player of the Year winner Mahrez does not believe the title race is over just yet.

He said: “It is not done yet. We have to keep going and focus on every game because it is difficult.” The Algerian international insists his side are still not feeling the pressure of leading the league, as nobody expected the Foxes to be anywhere near the top of the standings at this stage of the campaign.

He added: “We don’t need to be nervous. This is just a bonus for us. Nobody expected us to be where we are so this is a bonus. If we do it, we do it. If not, that’s life. Like I said, we are not a big club. We don’t have to win the Premier League.”

Leicester are available at 3.60 to seal their maiden league triumph with a victory on Sunday, while Manchester United are on offer at 2.05 and the draw is priced at 3.30.

The Foxes will still be crowned champions even if they lose at Old Trafford, if Spurs are defeated at Chelsea on Monday, while they can also secure the title by defeating either Everton or Chelsea in one of their final two league games.
