Bothered by his poor scoring form for Tottenham since his 60 million pounds worth from Everton last summer, Brazilian striker Richarlison has stated that he might as well seek psychological help for his trouble time finding the back of the net.

The striker was seen shedding tears after he was substituted in Brazil’s 5-1 victory over Bolivia during the international break, and the striker admitted to having some of the pitch issues affecting his performance on the pitch. Therefore, he stated that after leaving Brazil for England at the end of the international break, he would seek psychological help to get back in form.

“I went through a turbulent time off the pitch during these past five months. Now, things are a bit more stable at home. People who only had their eyes on my money are no longer close to me. Things are going to flow now, and I’m certain that I will have a good run at Tottenham and will make things happen again. I’m going to return to England and seek psychological help from a psychologist to strengthen my mind. That’s what it is about, to come back stronger.” Richarlison said.

Richarlison has only four goals in 40 games for the North London club since joining for £60m from Everton last summer and is yet to score this term.

Tottenham returns to action in the Premier League this weekend at home to Sheffield United as they seek to keep their impressive start to the campaign that sees them second on the table.

Richarlison believes he will be part of the next (Brazil) line-up for the October international break that will see Brazil play World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela on 13 October and Uruguay on 18 October.

For now, the striker says it’s about doing a good run at Tottenham, to sit down and talk to them and get a good run, get into the flow of play and settle in.
