Roma have signed Renato Sanches from PSG on loan with an ‘obligation to buy.
The condition to make the move permanent revolves around certain conditions that must be met.
He has now reunited with former teammate Leandro Paredes in the capital. The Argentina international completed a permanent move to the Stadio Olimpico earlier on Wednesday morning, hours before Sanches’ arrival.
In an official statement, Roma said that the Portuguese joined the club on loan with an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met.

According to several sources, Roma can make the midfielder’s move permanent for €15m at the end of the season.
Speaking to the club website after being unveiled, the 25-year-old Portugal international expresses delight at joining “this huge club.”

He further said The Roma project swayed him, and he feels that moving to Roma is the right choice.
“It’s so important for any player to feel the fans’ support. For me, on my first day, the impact that I felt helped me understand how much these supporters love the team, and that can only drive me forward to give my all to achieve success here.”

Also speaking on 5he development, Roma director Tiago Pinto described Sanches as a young player who has developed the habit of winning.

Having been following him for a long time, Pinto said Sanches, who has experienced success at the club and international level, has the technical and physical qualities that should see him slot seamlessly into Roma’s midfield, making it even more competitive.

Sanches will wear the No.20 at the Stadio Olimpico in 2023-24. He becomes Roma’s third signing in central midfield after the arrival of Paredes and Houssem Aouar.

Although Gialorossi remains short in attack as Abraham is currently out with a long-term injury while Paulo Dybala has not been fully fit for a whole season which Mourinho seems not to be happy about as the club is yet to sign a striker in the current window.

The only fit striker is Andrea Bellotti, who only scored three goals last season.
