Swansea-Bob-Bradley

Bob Bradley’s reign as the first American to manage in the Premier League begins on Saturday when he takes his new Swansea side to the capital to face high-flying Arsenal.

The Gunners are unbeaten in all competitions since their defeat to Liverpool on the opening weekend, while the Swans themselves have not won since beating Burnley in the first round of fixtures.

Following years of relative frugality in the transfer market, Arsene Wenger’s investment in defender Shkodran Mustafi has undoubtedly made a difference, while Granit Xhaka also appears ready to add vital steel to the midfield.

It is in attack where they have really impressed through, with Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez linking well.

Walcott and Sanchez have netted three and four times respectively so far this season and are priced at 5/1 and 7/2 to score first.

Arsenal have won their last five Premier League games and are the huge 1/4 favourites to extend that run.

In contrast, Swansea have lost five of their last six and despite some improve performances, the board did not seen enough to spare Francesco Guidolin from the chop.

His replacement Bradley has done the rounds at both club and international level and will be desperate to take his chance after finally getting the nod for a job on the biggest stage.

The Swans do have a good record at the Emirates though, winning three of their last four Premier League visits to the ground.

Another victory appears unlikely and they are 11/1 to cause an upset, with the draw 5/1. Keeping the goals out has been Swansea’s main issue so far this term, with their only clean sheet coming on the opening day.

That indicates that the Total Goals market could be worth considering and over 3.5 at 23/20 looks tempting, while over 4.5 is ambitious but an excellent price at 13/5. All odds correct as of time of writing.
