Pep Guardiola feels Manchester City could face a number of rivals for the Premier League title next season. City claimed their second league title in a row by finishing one point ahead of Liverpool.

Manchester City are the 1.70 favourites to claim the Premier League 2019/20 title, with Liverpool available at 3.60.

Chelsea finished third but were 25 points adrift of the Reds, with Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester United completing the top six.

City boss Guardiola believes European champions Liverpool will mount another bid for Premier League glory next term – but he isn’t necessarily expecting a two-horse race and says up to six teams will have genuine title aspirations at the start of next season.

“We have an amazing rivalry, but not only with them [Liverpool], there are five other strong teams and that’s why the Premier League is so tough,” the Catalan coach told reporters.

“Next season we will start from scratch and we’ll see what happens.”

Champions League runners-up Spurs were involved in the title tussle during the first half of the season and moved into second spot after matchday 19 before their form tailed off.

Spurs are 15.00 to win the Premier League next season, while Chelsea and Manchester United are both 21.00 and Arsenal can be backed at 26.00.
