Ricardo Pereira says he feels settled at Leicester City after an impressive first season at King Power Stadium.

The full-back arrived in a 25million euros deal from Porto last summer and enjoyed an strong debut campaign with the Foxes.

Pereira managed two goals in 34 Premier League appearances and was a mainstay in defence under Brendan Rodgers, who replaced Claude Puel as manager in February.

The 25-year-old admits it took him a while to fully adapt to life in the Premier League but he is happy with how his season went after picking up club’s player of the year and players’ player awards, and he says he now feels ‘at home’ with Leicester.

“I wasn’t expecting it to go so well,” he told French website nice-matin. “I had faith in myself, but you never quite know what to expect in a new country, in a new league.

“I needed to adapt to life in England, to my team-mates, to a new style of play. “After 2-3 months, I felt at home.”

Leicester are 201.00 to win the 2019/20 Premier League title, with champions Manchester City rated as the 1.62 favourites.

Liverpool are 3.75 to go one better after finishing as the runners-up this season, Manchester City are 13.00, Spurs are 13.00 and Arsenal can be backed at 17.00.
