Leicester midfielder Wilfred Ndidi believes Tottenham will be desperate to bounce back to winning ways when they clash at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men travel to Leicester desperate for three points as they look to keep alive their slim hopes of challenging for the Premier League title.

Spurs have won just one of their last four league outings – against Crystal Palace – and were held to a 1-1 draw at home to West Brom on Saturday.

Despite Tottenham’s poor recent run, Ndidi insists Leicester won’t underestimate them and believes they could prove even tougher to beat as a result.

Ndidi said: “I have never looked too much at the opposition. We know they are a good team so it will be very difficult.

“That makes it difficult, a team who has just won once in four games will be difficult because they will want to win so we should expect that and do more to get three points.”

The Nigerian believes the home faithful will be key to helping Leicester to gain a positive result and has hailed their influence during his 11 months at the club.

He added: “Every game at home, the fans are very crucial for us.

“We need three points because it feels like a while since our last win. We can do it if we play well and follow the coach’s instructions.”

Leicester can be backed at 4.50 to pick up the win, while Tottenham are priced at 1.80 to get back to winning ways, while the draw is available at 3.80.
