Leicester boss Claude Puel expects his side to face a stiff battle when they travel to the London Stadium to take on West Ham in the Premier League on Friday.

The match will see new Hammers boss David Moyes take charge of the club for the first time on home soil and he will want a response from his players following their 2-0 loss at Watford last weekend.

That result left West Ham in the relegation zone, without a win in their last five top-flight games, but despite their struggles Leicester boss Puel has warned his own squad to be ready for the challenge.

“Their fans want a reaction so we have to be careful,” said Puel.

“We know this team and they will want to show their qualities at home.”

Puel knows all about taking over a side mid-season as he only succeeded Craig Shakespeare as Leicester boss last month.

He has enjoyed his time at the King Power Stadium to date after collecting four points from his first three matches at the helm. “My first week at Leicester was very important to me,” he added.

“It was a good feeling and that is with the fans, also. Our fans in any game are super and create a great atmosphere.”

Leicester will be hoping to secure their second win under Puel on Friday and they are priced at 2.63 while the struggling Hammers are available at 2.70 and the draw is on offer at 3.40.
