Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell insists his team will bounce back from successive defeats after claiming they have the most talented attacking line-up in the club’s history.

The Foxes have dropped to 11th in the Premier League table after defeats to Everton and Arsenal either side of the international break.

Chilwell was part of the side that lost to the Gunners on Monday, with a 3-1 defeat putting more pressure on Puel as Leicester struggle for consistency. Leicester had chances in the first half but they were eventually pegged back after taking a 1-0 lead.

Chilwell insists some of the players are baffled by their recent luck but he is confident they will turn it around, starting with West Ham United on Saturday.

“The results we have got have not been a fair reflection of the talent we have in this squad,” he told the Leicester Mercury.

“But we have to get on with it and in the second half we tried to do what we did in the first half but it just didn’t happen. I feel at the moment it is not quite going for us. There is a lot of quality in that dressing room, a lot of quality. So many good players.

“You see in training the attacking players we have got are probably the best the club have ever had. At the moment it is just not going for us. We will keep working hard and try to put it right on Saturday.”

Leicester are 2.15 to win, with the draw 3.40, while West Ham are also 3.40 to grab a win on the road.
