Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta insists they have a squad capable of challenging for every title this season.
The west Londoners struggled to put in a serious fight across the majority of competitions last term as Antonio Conte’s time at the helm drew to a close.
Conte was heavily tipped to depart before his exit was finally confirmed late in the summer and the speculation around his future appeared to have a detrimental effect on performances.
Chelsea, who are priced at 12.00 to win the Premier League, did lift the FA Cup last term, beating Manchester United 1-0 in the final, but they were well short on all other fronts and even failed to finish in the top four.
After making a positive start to 2018-19 under new boss Maurizio Sarri there is a greater feeling of optimism around Stamford Bridge.
They have won all three of their opening Premier League outings and will soon learn their fate for the Europa League group stage.
Sarri’s men will need to be at the top of their game to get beyond the third round of the Carabao Cup after being handed an away tie at Liverpool, but Azpilicueta insists they are ready to fight on all fronts.
Azpilicueta said: “After the international break we will be playing every three days.
“It changes completely with Europe, with the cups, and we have to be ready. We have a good squad and we have been working really hard with the manager. We have the level to fight for everything.”
