Paul Pogba Officially Completes Transfer to Manchester United from Juventus

It’s now official. Manchester United have completed the world-record of £93.2M signing of Paul Pogba back to Manchester United after spending 4 years in Juventus.

With the hashtag #POGBACK on twitter and images of the midfielder with the slogan “ReUnited”, it’s very obvious that fans are rejoicing to witness the long-awaited record transfer.

Although the full details haven’t disclosed, Paul Pogba 23 signed a 5-year contract with Manchester United and a paycheck of £290,000 per week as initial fee plus an option of extra year of extension in the team.

The most in-demand midfielder will wear the number 6 shirt to work under the professional football manager of ManU Jose Mourinho. Back in the 2012, Pogba left Man United to sign for Juventus at £800,000 in compensation but did very well and left great memories to the fans, his teammates and for the club as a whole.

As for the achievements, Pogba won four Serie A titles and two Italian Cups with Juventus.

As confirmed on the club’s website, the midfielder said he’s truly delighted to rejoin Man U where he truly sees a special place in his heart. Pogba also mentioned that he enjoyed and treasured his time in Juventus but he feels this is the right time to return to the Old Trafford.

“My deepest respect to the clubs who considered having me. Juventus will always be a part of me and I will miss, love and be grateful to the club.

I hope you can understand and respect my decision” he said. According to the midfielder the most beautiful part of friendship is to understand and be understood. In addition, Manager Jose Mourinho was interviewed and was delighted at Pogba’s big return to the club.

In addition to that he truly believes that the Pogba could create a huge impact in the upcoming season of Premier League.

“Paul is one of the best players in the world and will be the key part of the United team I want to build here for the future. He is quick, strong, scores goals and reads the game better than many players much older than he is,” said Mouriho. Pogba arrived in Manchester Airport on Monday Morning after taking off to New York to spend his holiday.

Although the return is already expected, Manchester Airport official twitter account gave a clue of Pogba’s arrival via photo of a private plane landing and with the caption “An important passenger has just touched down at the airport. Can you guess who it may be?”

Manchester United confirmed on Sunday that Juventus has given permission for the midfielder to undertake his medical with them before the official announcement that marks the highest at €105million payable in two years.
