Everton striker Romelu Lukaku could stay at Goodison Park this summer, according to his agent, Mino Raiola.

The Belgium international is currently away with the national team at the European Championships, but his future is still dominating the headlines across Europe.

Belgium are 11.00 to win Euro 2016 outright. The former Chelsea star was in fine form the for Toffees last year, scoring 25 goals in all competitions.

Both Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with £65million bids but Lukaku decided to focus on Belgium’s Euro 2016 campaign first.

The likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have also been keeping tabs on him and Lukaku admitted at the end of the Premier League campaign that he wanted to play in the Champions League.

Raiola has also continued to keep his client in the shop window but now admits the 23-year-old may stay on Merseyside.

He told Sportwereld: “Everton don’t need the money anymore but Romelu wants to play for a club that can win trophies. “[However] something’s changed at Everton.

There’s a new project. If he leaves, it has to be a good deal for all parties.” While Juventus are interested in signing the striker, Raiola has confirmed that Lukaku will not be moving to Italy in the near future.

He added: “Romelu certainly has the qualities to play in Italy. But as the Italian landscape currently looks, there’s no team that can afford him. He is too expensive for Serie A.

“Only a global power can pay for him. The top clubs in England, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.”
