Pablo Zabaleta says no-one at Manchester City is celebrating the Premier League title just yet and insists there is still work to be done.

Following Liverpool’s slip up against Crystal Palace on Monday night and City’s 4-0 drubbing of Aston Villa on Wednesday, Manuel Pellegrini’s men just need a point against West Ham on Sunday to wrap up the title.

They sit two points ahead of Liverpool, who face Newcastle, and also have a far superior goal difference going into the last day.

However despite the odds being heavily stacked in City’s favour, Zabaletta is not counting any chickens just yet as he knows anything can happen in football.

Zabaleta says there is no complacency in the City camp and they will be going all out to win the game and not be thinking about the draw.

“Every single player knows we have done nothing yet,” he said.

“We need to keep fighting. The spirit of this group has been fantastic in the last few games and we just need to keep playing the way we want to play. We have been doing it for the whole season so we will change nothing.

“We know a draw is enough to win the league but we won’t be playing for a draw. We will play to win.”

Liverpool can put the pressure on with a win over Newcastle and Zabaleta says they are keen to avoid a nerve jangling repeat of what happened two years ago against QPR.

City are 1.17 to wrap up the win and the title, the draw is 8.70 and a shock win for the Hammers is priced at 9.96.
