Leicester striker Leonardo Ulloa insists the club are not getting too carried away with their fine run of form so far this season.

The Foxes are currently two points clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table after only tasting defeat once in their opening 16 top flight games this campaign.

Claudio Ranieri’s side also are unbeaten in their last nine league matches, but former Brighton forward Ulloa insists that everyone connected with club is remaining grounded ahead of a busy festive period.

He said: “We are staying clam. We don’t think we’re anything and we keep on working the same. That’s the key for us, to not think beyond what we are doing.”

The 29-year-old knows his side will suffer a dip in form at some stage in the season, and he insists that the Foxes must stay focused and not lose belief when they do start to find results hard to come by.

He added: “Let’s hope we can finish up with the top team, that’s the most important thing. If defeats come, as they will do at some point, we have to stay focused on what we are doing and believe in what we’re doing.”

Leicester will take on Everton at Goodison Park in their next league match on Saturday and they are available at 3.60 to win the clash, whilst the Toffees are 2.05 and the draw is best priced at 3.50.
