Real Madrid forward Isco hopes he is handed a new deal soon and is planning a long stay at the Bernabeu.

The former Malaga man is out of contract next summer but Isco is confident his future will be resolved soon.

“I want to stay at Madrid for a very long time – for many years,” Isco told Cadena Ser.

“I have always wanted to be a success at Madrid, even during those times when I was not getting as much playing time.

“I was adamant I would not give up and so here I am now – I feel important right now and feel very comfortable, so now I want to keep going in this manner for both Madrid and Spain.”

The 25-year-old managed just 18 La Liga starts last season but has started both of Real’s league matches this season and appears to have established himself as a regular under coach Zinedine Zidane.

Isco also starred for Spain over the international break in two World Cup qualifier with a brace against Italy and a goal against Liechtenstein.

Real Madrid take on Levante in la Liga on Saturday and Isco is 5.00 to score the first goal.

Los Blancos are 34.00 to win 5-0. Real Madrid are the 4.50 favourites to win the Champions League outright this season, Barcelona can be backed at 7.50 and Chelsea are available at 17.00.
