James Milner has demanded that Manchester City take all three points when they host West Ham on Sunday.

Having previously looked like Chelsea’s biggest rivals for the title, the Citizens have seen their season unravel in recent weeks, with defeats in four of their last six Premier League outings.

It means that, with six games left, they now sit fourth in the table and a continuation of their recent form could even see them fail to finish in the Champions League places.

They have the perfect chance to get back on track on Sunday though when they welcome the Hammers to the Etihad.

Sam Allardyce’s men have also found things tough in recent weeks and, like many of the sides around them in mid-table, already appear to be looking towards their summer holidays.

Milner has now called on his team-mates to get their act together and says it is vital that they take all three points from the Hammers clash.

“It’d be nice to win 5-0 and play amazing football against West Ham,” he told the Daily Star. “But the most important thing is to win the game and get back to winning ways and to try and get a feel-good factor back around the place again.

“The only way we can change things is by starting to win football matches again.”

Despite their recent slump, City are huge favourites to claim the victory, currently priced at 1.25, with the draw 6.00 and the Hammers the huge underdogs at 11.00 to take all three points.
