Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale believes his side were unlucky to only draw 2-2 with Las Palmas in La Liga on Saturday.
Los Blancos took the lead twice at Estadio Gran Canaria thanks to goals from Marco Asensio and Karim Benzema, but they were unable to maintain their advantage, with Tana scoring the first equaliser, before Sergio Araujo’s late strike salvaged a point for the hosts.
Real remain unbeaten in La Liga this season, although they have now drawn their last two league matches, and Wales international Bale knows it is important his side returns to winning ways as soon as possible.
“We’re disappointed we did not win,” he said. “We are still unbeaten in the league, but the important thing is to win three points.”
The 27-year-old believes his side were unlucky to not pick up all three points in Gran Canaria, and he has called for the team to bounce back when they take on Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Bale added: “We were unlucky with the chances we had, but now we play in Dortmund and we have to bounce back. We were unlucky, but that is football.”
Real, who claimed a narrow 2-1 win over Sporting Lisbon in their last European match, are available at 2.75 to secure a victory at Signal Iduna Park, while Dortmund are on offer at 2.40 and the draw is priced at 3.30.
