Gareth Bale has dropped a massive hint that he will still be with Real Madrid next season, despite coming in for some heavy criticism from all quarters.
Real have had a disappointing season, and after failing to win a trophy boss Carlo Ancelotti was relieved of his duties on Monday.
There have also been suggestions that Bale could head for the exit door after being criticised by the media and the Real fans for failing to live up to expectations.
There have also been rumours of a fall out with Real superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, leading to reports linking him with a return to the Premier League in the summer.
Chelsea and Manchester United have both been heavily linked, but Bale took to his twitter account to pledge his future to the European champions.
“Not the end of the season we had hoped for, we always want to win trophies! Will be working hard in the off season and looking forward to coming back next season stronger with @realmadrid #HalaMadrid.”
Meanwhile, Wales boss and fellow countryman Chris Coleman also does not expect Bale, who has a contract until 2019, to leave the Bernabeu anytime soon.
“Unless Gareth wants to leave, which I don’t think is the case, then I don’t think he’ll go anywhere,” he said.
“He’s worked hard enough to get to arguably the biggest club in the world, why would he want to leave?
“It (Real Madrid) is arguably the biggest club on the planet. I don’t really see him wanting to move, no.”
