Having beaten Bayern Munich in their own backyard this week, midfielder James Milner says Manchester City are not concerned over who they will face in next round of Champions League.

With the draw set to take place on Monday, City are getting set to learn their fate, with the likes of Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid all possible opponents in the round of 16.

Although it is guaranteed to be a tough encounter in their next European outing, the Citizens can take great heart from their fine performance at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday after they came back from two goals down to win 3-2.

England international Milner, who bagged the winner in Germany against the Bundesliga champions, says the team’s focus is solely on themselves no matter which European giant they are drawn against next week.

The 27-year-old said: “It couldn’t be any tougher than this. Bayern are the reigning champions and have been to three finals in the last four years.
“We’ll take anyone in the next round. We’ll just concentrate on us.

“It’ll be a tough team but, after this, we’ll take confidence and know we can progress.”

City return to Premier League duty on Saturday when current leaders Arsenal make the trip to the Etihad Stadium.
