Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki is looking forward to their Premier League opener against Liverpool after signing a new three-year contract at Carrow Road.
Norwich are 17.00 to win at Liverpool, the Reds can be backed at 1.17 to claim all three points and a draw is 7.50.
Pukki arrived at the club last summer on a free transfer from Danish club Brondby and went on to finish top scorer in the Championship with 29 goals as Norwich claimed the title to earn promotion.
The Canaries have been handed an incredibly tough opener as they head to last season’s runners-up Liverpool in the first round of fixtures, and Pukki can’t wait to test himself in the top flight.
“I am really proud of last season,” said the Finland international.
“It was the best season I have ever had and I think we will understand what we really did when we play our first game at Anfield.”
On his new deal, he said: “Everyone made it easy for me and my family for this to feel like home and we’re really happy to stay a bit longer.”
Elsewhere, Norwich City have allowed midfielder Simon Power to join Scottish outfit Kilmarnock on loan for the coming campaign.
Power, 21, signed a three-year contract extension with the club in January and spent the second half of last season on loan at Dutch second tier outfit Dordrecht.
