On the edge of the transfer deadline, Scott Parker’s Fulham achieved a reinforcement that could give some oxygen to the club currently sitting at the bottom of the table.

Fulham is currently the worst team in the Premier League with four games played, the club has not been able to add a single point, accumulates 11 goals against and only 3 in favor.

To improve the club’s midfield, the Cottagers managed to get Chelsea to loan them to 24-year-old Englishman Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Ruben is a very experienced player who has played 102 Premier League games, 52 of them as a starter, and has scored 14 goals. The Blues decided to give up the player since he would not have many minutes on the field due to the arrival of players like Danny Drinkwater and Tiemoué Bakayoko.

Tony Khan, Vice President and COO of Fulham, was pleased with the player’s arrival: “I am delighted to announce the arrival of Ruben Loftus-Cheek to Fulham Football Club on loan from Chelsea FC. Rubén is a world-class player in the best moment of his career, he has gained great experience in the Premier League and we believe that he will be very valuable to our club in the fight that lies ahead.”

Ruben sees Fulham as a platform to improve his performance: “I saw Fulham at the beginning of the season, and it seemed like they were playing decent football. With this coach, I think I can get back to my best football. That is the main thing for me, to find my form and to help this team to win games.”
