Bayern Munich forward Arjen Robben is confident his side can recover from the disappointment of their Champions League exit and secure a win over rivals Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.

Bayern host BVB in the semi-finals of the DFB Pokal seeking to end a four-match winless run, which saw them knocked out of Europe’s top competition by Real Madrid.

Robben admits there was a lot of “frustration” in the Bayern camp after their Champions League exit but he is convinced they can down Dortmund in the cup, having beaten BVB 4-1 in Munich in the Bundesliga earlier this month.

“It’ll be a fierce match,” he told Bayern’s official website. “I’m confident that if we play to our best and have our best team available then we can beat them again.

I’m confident of that and we’ll have to give it our all because there can only be one winner.”

Bayern are 1.53 to claim a victory over their Der Klassiker rivals at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, while Robben is 5.50 to score first or 2.05 to score at anytime.

Dortmund can be backed at 5.50 to claim a win and the draw is priced at 4.50.

Bayern are missing keeper Manuel Neuer for Wednesday’s cup contest, while Dortmund have a number of injury problems.

Nuri Shain, Andre Schurrle, Mario Gotze and Marc Bartra are all missing for the visitors as they bid for a first win at the Allianz Arena since 2015, when they claimed a victory over Bayern on penalties at the same stage of the DFB Pokal.
