Having secured the Bundesliga title with a record seven games of the season remaining, Bayern Munich and their manager Pep Guardiola have earned the praise of Germany head coach Joachim Low.

A 3-1 victory over Hertha Berlin on Tuesday night meant the Bavarian outfit were crowned champions of Germany once again, as they continued their success from a treble-winning campaign last term.

With the Super Cup and Club World Cup already in the trophy cabinet at the Allianz Arena, Bayern have added the Bundesliga title and are still in the hunt for the DFB Pokal and Champions League crowns.

Former Barcelona boss Guardiola has continued to be successful since leaving the Camp Nou and will be determined to secure further silverware before the campaign is through.

Germany manager Low has been impressed with what he has seen and believes Bayern’s success will be good for the national side as they prepare for the World Cup in Brazil which they are 6.00 to win.

He said: “To win the title at such an early stage is an unbelievable achievement by Bayern. Congratulations to Bayern, and above all to coach Pep Guardiola. He has improved the team even further, and you can see his mark on their dominance and ball possession.

“I’m naturally happy for our national team players at Bayern – the title should give them a further boost. We have another greater goal together this year. Bayern have every chance of repeating their success of last season.”

Bayern face Manchester United in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and are 2.70 to win the biggest prize in European club football once again.
