After Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard reportedly declared his intention to prove his mettle in the Italian Serie A, Inter and Milan are interested in him.

The two Milan-based clubs want the Frenchman to join their ranks this summer.
Having been a long-time target of both Milanese sides, Inter offered €20m to sign him in the January transfer window. However, the Bavarians refused to sell due to an injury sustained by Lucas Hernandez, brother of Milan defender Theo.
Gazzetta reported that the 2018 World Cup winner has decided to leave Germany at the end of the season and wants to prove himself in Serie A.

This follows the report that the defender has informed his club about his desire to join a new club in the summer.
It could be recalled that last December, Pavard admitted that he often spoke with his compatriot Olivier Giroud about life and football in Italy.

The 27-year-old is contracted to Bayern until June 2024. He also attended a Milan match at San Siro in April and met some Rossoneri players in the dressing room after the final whistle.

As it’s looking like, the right back. Could join Milan ahead of Inter should the move materialize.
If he moves to Milan, he can easily slot in at the right back and add some firing power to the team.
Stefano Poli will have another attack option like Hernandez, who usually supports the attack from his right-back position.

Should he decide to join Inter, it will be hard to dislodge Denzel Dumfries from the position. This means he might be on the bench, needing more game time.

Thus, his best shot will surely be AC Milan, and he could flourish in the side.
As Milan prepares for the next season, Pavard will be a massive addition to the squad.
