Barcelona boss Luis Enrique insists Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal will not be sent out on loan before they make their debuts for the Catalan giants.

The La Liga champions brought in wide man Vidal and forward Turan from Spanish rivals Sevilla and Atletico Madrid respectively this summer.

However, the pair will not be able to make their Blaugrana bows until January due to Barca’s Fifa-imposed transfer ban, after the club were punished for breaching rules regarding the signing of under-age players.

It has been suggested Barcelona may seek temporary homes for their new recruits until January but Enrique says they will remain at Camp Nou until they are available for selection.

He told El Mundo Deportivo: “We want them to train with us in order for them to get to know the team mechanism.

“We have great hope placed in them. We have not considered, nor will we consider, that Turan or Vidal be loaned.

“The fact that they cannot play until January is a disadvantage but what I want is for them to be with us until then. In any case, we have a squad capable of starting the season in the best possible condition.”

Barcelona are 1.33 to win their opening game of the 2015-16 La Liga season at Athletic Bilbao and 1.67 to successfully defend their league title.
