Arsenal’s Theo Walcott reckons the Gunners can “beat anyone” as they prepare to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Arsene Wenger’s side followed up their scintillating 3-0 victory over Manchester United before the international break by winning away at Watford by the same scoreline on Saturday.

Those two games have showed Arsenal’s fantastic attacking quality and it looks like they are starting to find their best form.

That can’t come too soon in Europe as the Gunners have lost their two Champions League group games so far, against Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos, and now face a double-header against the German powerhouses Bayern.

Walcott reckons that Arsenal are capable of overcoming Bayern if they can match the standards shown in that game against United.

He said: “Playing against Bayern and their quality is of course going to be a challenge for us, but we are at home with our support and we need a similar sort of performance like we had against Manchester United.

“We know we can beat anyone and we’re going to be completely ready for this one.

“We need to move on from the first couple of results in the Champions League. We know we are capable of getting results against Bayern and we want to put things right.

“Looking at our last Premier League home match against United, the intensity of our game was different to what it was like against Olympiakos in the Champions League.”

Arsenal are on offer at 3.80 to beat Bayern at the Emirates, with the German side installed as 1.91 favourites while the draw is priced at 3.60.
