Pat Riley announces on Monday that the Heats are not working for Chris Bosh’s return. During the opening camp, the President stated that the power forward’s career with Miami is probably over after his physical exam failed last week.

Although Riley didn’t pointed out directly, he and the team felt it’s already the end of Bosh’s NBA career. However, when asked if this is really over, he replied “That’s up to him”.

According to the President, it’s a pretty definitive decision for Miami but in their own standpoint this is probably the time they need to step back.

“His Health, playing and economics. It’s been health health health” Riley added. Bosh‘s last two seasons were so luckless as he ended up with blood clots which resulted preseason physical exam to fail.

The power forward attempted to comeback during the playoffs but the team was steadfast in ruling him out.

Bosh underwent second opinion with other doctors and will let him play but it was Heat’s medical staff that won’t still clear him. In an interview with Bosh, he stated that team doctors told him this was the end of his career and felt right away that he was written off.

However, Bosh is still confident that he’ll be able to give his best for the team if given a chance. “I know inside me I have a lot of talent and a lot of ability. I have it. It wasn’t matter of if I’m going to play again but when. So I took the bull by the horns” he added.

Moving forward Riley foresees this would be a cloudy environment for Miami Heat with Chris Bosh situation but they have to deal with it.

In case Miami’s power forward didn’t make it and get a clear impression from the NBA specialist, the team would receive a salary-cap relief going forward on the 9th of February amounting to $79M from Bosh’s contract from the franchise.

Although Bosh insisted he isn’t ready to call quits, Miami Heat standoff seemed to be final for months. The 32-year old power forward has been incredible in the game of basketball, of which he appeared 11 times in All-Star games, crowned two-time NBA champions and Olympic gold medalist.
