Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal says the key to stopping Boston Celtics is keeping Isaiah Thomas quiet ahead of Game 5 of their Eastern Conference Semi-final series.

The two sides are level at 2-2, with both teams winning their home games so far.

The Wizards need to find a way to win at least once at TD Garden as the Celtics have home court advantage in the best-of-seven match-up, and Beal is well aware stopping Thomas is crucial.

Washington managed to limit the Celtics star to just 32 points in total in Games 3 and 4 at the Verizon Center – the first time Thomas has failed to reach 20 points in back to back NBA games in his career – and Beal hopes they can do the same at Boston in Game 5.

“Our goal is just take him out of the game and just continue to be physical with him,” said Beal, as reported by the Portland Press Herald.

“He runs around the floor all day, I’ve been chasing him all first half. I just wanted to come in and just be physical with him.”

The winner of the series will go on to face defending champions Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals after the Cavs swept the Toronto Raptors to maintain a 100% post-season record.

Washington are 2.63 to claim a Game 5 win and Boston can be backed at 1.50, or 1.75 with a -3.5 handicap.
