Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo insists he is happy at the Italian giants as he tries to help them through to the next round of the Champions League.

The Portugal international joined Juventus last summer and he has enjoyed a sensational season so far. He has scored 19 goals in 26 appearances in Serie A this season to help Juventus move 18 points clear of Napoli in the table.

Juve have lost just once in the last seven games but that defeat did come to Tuesday’s opponents Atletico Madrid. They will need to overturn a two-goal deficit but Cristiano insists his team can do it as tries to continue his good form of late.

He told Juventus TV: “I have no secrets, just my dedication and my passion for this sport, I love to play football more than anything else.

“I’ve enjoyed myself in Portugal, England and Spain and I am now doing so in Italy. For me, it’s a pleasure to score goals and to help my team win. I’m happy.

“Everyone knows that they are a strong team, they defend very well, they don’t take a lot of risks and they play on the counter-attack.

“But we are ready, and we will do everything we can to beat them.”

Juventus remain 1.70 favourites for the game at the Allianz Stadium, while the draw is 3.60. Atletico are as big as 5.50 to win on the night but Juve are priced at 4.00 to qualify to the next round.
