Watch out Bayern Munich, Lionel Messi was confirmed as fit to action for Barcelona.

Amid speculations he is not ready, Messi was confirmed as a fit to see action for Barcelona when they face the German side in the Champions League semifinals first leg on April 23 at the Allianz Arena.

Messi got the go-signal during training on Tuesday as he recovered from his hamstring problem.

The Argentine has missed the Blaugrana’s last two Liga matches due to the injury.

But he did come off the bench in between the domestic games to have a major impact in the Liga giant’s second leg with Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month.

The Catalans were trailing 0-1 when the four-time Ballon d’Or winner was brought off the bench and he eventually set up Pedro for the crucial equaliser which ensured the club’s progression into the semifinals on away goals (3-3 on aggregate).

It remains to be seen whether Messi will be fielded in against Levante on Saturday during a La Liga fixture. Barca are 13 points up on Real Madrid with seven games left.

Prior to his injury-induced absences, Messi had gone on a record-breaking streak of scoring in 19 consecutive Liga matches and tops the Primera Division charts with 43 goals.
