Most tennis fans are hoping Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal will face off in the Wimbledon final as both have marched through to the fourth round without dropping a set, but Juan Martin del Potro has other ideas as he continues his own push for glory at SW19.

The world number four has also managed three successive 3-0 victories ahead of his fourth-round meeting with Gilles Simon on Monday.

Del Potro is 1.11 to win or 1.85 to win 3-0, while Simon can be backed at 5.50 to come out on top.

If the Argentine downs Simon and Nadal overcomes Jiri Vesely in his fourth-round match the pair will meet in the quarter-finals next, and Del Potro feels he is at the top of his game and will be a match for any player at the All England Club.

“I am going match by match but I am confident with my game at this time, so let’s see what happens,” he said.

“Roger and Rafa are the favourites, it is always the same, but my game is adapting well for this surface.”

Nadal beat Del Potro 3-0 in the semi-finals of the French Open earlier this year but clay is the 29-year-old’s weakest surface and it could be much closer if they do come together in the last eight at Wimbledon.

Nadal is 6.50 to win Wimbledon 2018 outright and Del Potro can be backed at 9.00.
