Former France star Youri Djorkaeff has warned Kylian Mbappe that he should consider Anthony Martial’s move to Manchester United before deciding whether to leave Monaco.
The youngster has been a revelation for this season, scoring 13 goals in 12 appearances since the start of February.
His goals helped knock Manchester City out of the Champions League and he recently earned a call-up to the France squad.
But Djorkaeff has urged him to consider his options carefully and look at Martial’s situation.
The former World Cup winner believes Martial’s move to Old Trafford is something he could learn from going forward.
He told Le Figaro: “If I were the president of PSG, I would sign him but I would not be the only one [in for him]. “He has tremendous potential but he must be in the right conditions.
Look at [Anthony] Martial. When you go to a big club, you have to adapt and discover something else. Mbappe must pay attention to all this.”
Martial has made just 16 appearances in the league due to the form of Zlatan Ibrahimovic while Wayne Rooney and Marcus Rashford have also added extra competition.
The Frenchman will be hoping to start on Saturday when the Red Devils take on West Brom at home.
Jose Mourinho’s side are 1.33 favourites, with the draw 4.75. The Baggies are priced at 10.00.
