Midfield enforcer N’Golo Kante says he has no plans to leave Chelsea at the end of the season.

The Frenchman joined Chelsea in 2016 after playing a key role in Leicester City’s Premier League title-winning campaign but has been linked with a summer exit.

Paris Saint-Germain have been mooted as potential suitors in the past and now Real Madrid, managed by Kante’s compatriot Zinedine Zidane, are said to be keen.

Los Blancos are planning a summer overhaul after an underwhelming campaign and reports indicate they have identified Kante as one of their main targets.

However, the 27-year-old World Cup winner has stressed he is committed to Chelsea and isn’t planning to walk away from Stamford Bridge when the transfer window reopens.

“I am at Chelsea and I still have aims here, what is said elsewhere is not important,” he told RTL.

“That is not important. I am at Chelsea and I am focused on that.”

Kante is under contract at Chelsea until 2023 and it appears as if Real will have to look elsewhere to strengthen their midfield options at the end of the campaign.

The La Liga giants could still raid Stamford Bridge this summer however, with Eden Hazard also understood to be among their list of targets as Zidane bids to reshape his squad.

Chelsea are currently sixth in the Premier League table and can be backed at 2.88 to secure a top-four finish. Chelsea head to Cardiff in the next round of Premier League fixtures after the international break and are 1.44 to secure all three points.
