Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has once again denied speculation that Sergio Aguero could leave the club in the future.

The Argentinian has netted 15 times in his last 13 appearances and he was in fine form once again as he helped his side to an emphatic 3-0 win over Swansea at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Aguero’s form has created fresh rumours that he may leave the club at the end of the season, with Real Madrid still interested in his services after next year’s World Cup in Brazil.

Recent reports have also suggested that midfielder Yaya Toure could leave but both the Ivorian and Aguero have confirmed their commitment to the club.

The 25-year-old has a contract with City until the end of the 2016/17 season, and Pellegrini is confident the striker will be staying with the club next year.

Speaking after the weekend win against Swansea, he said: “I don’t know anything about that. I don’t think Sergio wants to leave. That is not a problem for us. I don’t believe in that.”

With City finding their form in recent weeks, Pellegrini received a welcomed boost ahead of his side’s midweek clash with West Brom, with the news that captain Vincent Kompany is available for selection after spending two months on the sidelines with a thigh injury.
