Leicester midfielder N’Golo Kante admits that he is unsure where he will be playing his club football next season.

The 25-year-old has been a revelation since joining the Foxes from Caen last summer, appearing in all but one of their Premier League matches to date, as they have moved five points clear at the top of the standings.

The midfielder’s form has also earned him recognition at international level with France and he is now being linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium this summer, with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Juventus all being accredited with an interest in his services.

Kante admits that his sole focus for the time being is to help Leicester secure their maiden league title, but he conceded that he is unsure if he will remain with the club beyond the end of the campaign.

He said: “I will fight for Leicester this season and next season we never know and we will see. At this moment I am focused on Leicester. We have to finish well this season but I don’t mind about [being linked with] the other clubs.”

Leicester must collect a minimum of 17 points from their final seven matches of the season to be assured of their first league title, but Kante knows they will face a battle in every match during the remainder of the campaign.

He added: “We will fight for the title but it is not [our] due. We have to fight in every game. There are seven games left. We hope to win the league but it’s not finished.”

The Foxes are next in action when they play host to Southampton on Sunday and they are on offer at 2.20 to win the match, while the Saints are available at 3.50 and the draw is priced at 3.30.
