Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil says his side ‘know exactly how to beat Liverpool’ in Monday’s Premier League clash at the Emirates.

The Gunners welcome LiverpoolArsenal enjoyed their biggest win in that period last season when they raced into a 3-0 lead at half time and eventually won 4-1, which eased memories of a 5-1 reverse at Anfield the campaign before.

With memories of their most recent victory in mind, Ozil – who netted a sublime free-kick in the encounter – insists the Gunners are confident going into the game and have a gameplan ready for Liverpool.

“I remember that we delivered a really convincing display. In the first half we decided the game because we had a high level of concentration and wanted to utilise our potential. We want to do that again this time,” Ozil told Arsenal Player.

“We are at home and we know exactly how we can beat Liverpool; that is what we want to do on Monday.

“We were highly concentrated. The manager gave us tasks on the pitch and we executed them perfectly. That’s what we will have to do on Monday again.

“We have to believe in ourselves as we have the potential to beat every team and we will show that on Monday.”

Arsenal are 1.75 favourites to win the game and can be backed at 5.00 to lift the Premier League title this season.
