Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi has stressed he has no intention of leaving the club following speculation over his future.

Serie A leaders and defending champions Juventus have been heavily linked with the forward, while Premier League pair Chelsea and Arsenal have also been credited with an interest.

However, Icardi says he hopes to agree fresh terms with the Nerazzurri and he feels the future looks bright for the Italian giants under the guidance of Roberto Mancini.

“The club will do everything possible to bring in players who can help us make the step up and challenge for the top spots,” he told the club’s official website.

“My contract renewal? You need to speak to (sporting director Piero) Ausilio but I want to be here next year too, with these fans in this stadium.”

Inter picked up a vital 2-1 win over Roma at home on Saturday to maintain their slim hopes of qualifying for European competition next season.

Icardi scored a late winner for Inter to take his total to 22 goals in all competitions this season.

Inter moved up to seventh in the standings thanks to their win over the capital outfit and Icardi hopes they can win all of their remaining Serie A fixtures.

He said: “Win all our remaining games? That’s what we all want. It would be great.”

Inter travel to Udinese on Tuesday and they are priced at 2.30 to take all three points and extend their unbeaten run in Serie A to five games, while a 2-0 win for Mancini’s side is available at 10.00.
