Jurgen Klopp says his goal during his time in charge of Liverpool is to win the Premier League title.

The Reds, who are 6.00 to top the standings at the end of the season, have made an excellent start to the campaign, winning four of their six games to rise to fourth in the table.

With no European football to worry about, Klopp’s men are sure to have a fitness advantage over their rivals in the closing months of the season and that will only help their all-action style.

Liverpool were tipped as potential top-four contenders during the summer but the brilliance of some of their attacking play has suggested they could go all the way.

Klopp won the Bundesliga twice while in charge of Borussia Dortmund and appears to be moulding a side in a similar image to the one that also reached the Champions League final in 2013.

With so many teams seemingly in contention for the European places, every point counts and they will be desperate to continue their recent winning run on Saturday against Swansea.

The Reds are 1.44 to win the game, with the draw 4.50 and the Swans 7.00.

Klopp admits winning the Premier League title is his ultimate aim at Anfield and believes they could go close this season.

He told Sky Sports: “I think that’s what you have to do in life, use the time you have together to create some moments which you really can enjoy and when you look back, you think ‘they were maybe a few of the best moments I had.’

“Of course we want to win it, I don’t know when it will happen. But all I can say is that we will do our all for it [so] we are not too far away from the teams which battle for the title.”
