Lucas Vazquez insists confidence remains high within the Real Madrid camp and they are convinced they can come through their Champions League semi-final with Bayern Munich.

Los Blancos are priced at 2.88 to win a third consecutive Champions League crown this season but they face a tricky tie against Bundesliga champions Bayern in the last four, with the first leg taking place at the Allianz Arena next Wednesday.

Real warmed up with a less than impressive 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao in La Liga on Wednesday and only managed to salvage a point after Cristiano Ronaldo’s late equaliser.

That result means Real have only won one of their last four games in all competitions but winger Vazquez insists that run of form has not dented their confidence.

“Of course we are thinking about that game but we do not have a single doubt,” he said. “We are not worried, we are very confident.

“We have got to work all week because we want to win over there. I think we are on a good track.”

The Spain international also felt his side were unlucky not to beat Bilbao, despite the late nature of their equaliser, as he believes they were the dominant team at the Bernabeu.

“It’s a kind of bittersweet feeling at the end of that game because we played really well and I think we dominated the game throughout,” he added.
