Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has hailed what he believes is a talented and well-balanced squad at White Hart lane.
Spurs are currently enjoying an impressive season under boss Mauricio Pochettino, as they are second in the Premier League standings, as well as still being involved in both the FA Cup and Europa League.
Skipper Lloris believes the north London club have a great feel to their side and he sees no reason why the team cannot continue to improve with a number of young players in the squad.
He said: “We have the talent, we have the working mentality and we have improved a lot tactically and technically. Individually as well, a lot of players are improving and because we are young, some players don’t know their limit. That is very good.”
Spurs are currently on a six-game winning streak, however Lloris has warned that form can change very quickly and the team must not rest on their laurels despite their impressive run.
He continued: “That is why we always have to be vigilant about what is happening every day. That is the role of the gaffer, the staff, the experienced players – to put the team in the best condition every day for every game.”
Tottenham will be looking to continue their recent fine form when they travel to the Etihad Stadium to take on title rivals Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
Pochettino’s side can move four points clear of the Citizens with a victory in Manchester and they are available at 3.60 to win, with City are on offer at 2.05 and the draw is priced at 3.50.
