Tottenham forward Son Heung-Min has admitted to feeling frustrated at crashing out of the FA Cup but has called on the squad to complete the job in the Europa League against Fiorentina.

Spurs were beaten 1-0 by Crystal Palace in the FA Cup fifth round on Sunday and now remain active in just the Europa League and Premier League.

The north London club picked up a 1-1 draw with Fiorentina in the first-leg of their round-of-32 clash last week and will host the Italian side at White Hart Lane on Thursday.

Mauricio Pochettino has also been able to keep Tottenham on course for a challenge for the Premier League title this season.

Tottenham, who can be backed at 3.50 to win the Premier League, are currently in second, two points adrift of leaders Leicester with 12 games still left to play.

Son revealed that Sunday’s loss to Palace had left him feeling angry but insists there is still a lot to remain positive about.

He said: “Because we lost we are angry, I am angry.

“But this is football. We have to understand.

“It’s finished now. We can’t play every game, every tournament. Now we can concentrate on Europa League and Premier League.

“(Thursday’s Europa League fixture at home to Fiorentina is) very exciting but now we have to win this game. We have four days until we play and we can be really focused and really relaxed. We have to win.

“We are ready and I hope we win against Fiorentina. They are a very good team and we have to be focused.”
