Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has revealed his ambition is to win as much silverware as possible with the Blues after already achieving his dream of joining the club.

The £12m signing from Saint Etienne actually joined the club in January of 2014 but did not actually arrive until six months later, although the France Under-21 international has forced his way into Jose Mourinho’s thinking and is now a regular in the side and is keen to win as much as possible whilst he is with the club.

The Blues have already secured one piece of silverware in the cupboard this season after winning the Capital One Cup by beating Spurs 2-0 at Wembley at the beginning of the month.

Chelsea sit at the top of the Premier League table and look uncatchable with a six-point lead and a game in hand, and they are heavy 1.09 favourites to take the Premier League title from Manchester City.

Zouma told the Express: “My dream was first to play for Chelsea and then to win all the titles I can win. Now, I am in the dressing room with a lot of very good players – I am living the dream.

“When you play for Chelsea, you have to be ready for anything.

“If you play with nervousness in your mind, you cannot play very well, but if you can play with pace and stay calm at the same time, you will do very well in England, I think.

“I learn every time I play and that is what I wanted when I signed here.

“So I am very happy because we are a really good squad, with a really good manager, and we are doing good things together.”
