Norwich boss Daniel Farke says his side are prepared for the different challenges the Premier League will bring ahead of their season opener at Liverpool on Friday.

Norwich are 19.00 to claim all three points at Anfield and Canaries striker Teemu Pukki is a PRICE BOOST 15.00 to score the first goal.

The Canaries stormed to the Championship title last season to earn promotion with an attacking brand of football, with Norwich managing 94 points and 93 goals in 46 league games.

However, Farke’s side also conceded 57 goals in the process and the German tactician is well aware they will need to focus more on the defensive side of the game in the Premier League.

“We know these players are capable of improving,” he told the Pink Un. “We wanted a tough series of pre-season games so the players can feel what it is like to play a club like Schalke 04 or Bergamo [Atalanta]. You have to realise you must be better on the small details than we were last season.

“The tactical approach must change. Last season they could play with unbelievable attacking intent 95% of the time, now they might have to defend more and change their positioning.” He added: “We know there are challenges in the Premier League. We sat down in the summer and thought about that a lot.

“Let’s see if we have found the right answers. I think we are prepared for what awaits us but let’s see on the pitch.” The Canaries have been handed a tough start to the campaign as they also face Chelsea and Manchester City in their first five games.
