Fulham owner Shahid Khan has confirmed that Stefan Johansen, Denis Odoi, Floyd Ayite, Neeskens Kebano will all be at Craven Cottage next season.
Norway international Johansen had been allowed to leave the club on loan by former Cottagers boss Claudio Ranieri and has spent the second half of this season at West Brom, 6.50 to be promoted from the Championship.
Johansen had until recently been willing to leave Fulham permanently but has had a change of heart now that Scott Parker has been named boss. Tom Cairney signed a new deal last week and Khan confirmed:
“Among Tom’s team-mates who will return to the squad in 2019/20 are Denis Odoi, Floyd Ayite, Neeskens Kebano and Stefan Johansen, all of who have had their options picked up.
“All four have been faithful to Fulham and were instrumental in our promotion, giving us great confidence, ability and continuity as we prepare for the intensity of a 46-match season in the Championship. Welcome back gentlemen.”
Johansen picked up a knock on Saturday in the first leg of Albion’s Championship play-off semi-final at Aston Villa, which Dean Smith’s side won 2-1. The Baggies are 2.80 to win the second leg at The Hawthorns.
Johansen joined Fulham from Celtic in the summer of 2016 and has scored 19 goals in 93 league appearances for the club. Since moving to West Brom, he has found the net twice in 13 appearances for the Championship side who are aiming to make an immediate return to the top-flight following their relegation in 2017/18.
