Fulham continue to be linked with several more players despite being on the verge of wrapping up the transfer of Swansea central defender Alfie Mawson in a £15million deal.

The Cottagers have already brought in Nice duo Jean-Michael Seri and Maxime Le Marchand, Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic and Besiktas goalkeeper Fabri, while Andre Schurrle has joined on loan from Borussia Dortmund.

Their outlay will reach the £70m mark once England international Mawson is added to the ranks, but it seems as though boss Slavisa Jokanovic is keen for more new faces as they prepare for their Premier League return which came courtesy of winning the Championship play-off final at Wembley in May.

Wolfsburg’s seven-cap France international defensive midfielder Joshua Guilavogui has been tipped to be the next target for Fulham, while they have been quoted £15m for Southampton midfielder Matt Targett, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Craven Cottage.

In defence, Ajax’s £8m-rated 25-year-old left-back Nicolas Tagliafico has also been linked, although they will almost certainly face plenty of competition for his signature given that he put in some impressive performances for Argentina at the Word Cup in Russia.

Fulham could have spent almost £100m by the time the transfer window closes on August 9 and they are 3.80 to be the top promoted club next season ahead of Cardiff City and Wolves.

The Londoners are 2.38 to start their season with a win against Crystal Palace at home on August 11, while Palace are 3.10 to take the points and the draw is 3.40.
